I specialize in solving the most complex clinical problems for patients, providers, insurers and health care systems.

I’m a Senior Product Designer with over 10+ years of experience in working with digital health, medical technology, and healthcare insurance orgs to design and ship commercial digital products.

As a designer, I have collaborated with everyone from Chief Medical Officers to ultrasound techs to medical benefit managers, and have helped transform their visions into real products that have solved real problems.

I’m currently a Senior Product Experience Designer at Elevance Health / Carelon, and am leading the product design for a new Behavioral Health and Healthcare Benefits mobile app. I have an Human Computer Interaction and User Experience Design certification from MIT, and I’m 100% focused on using design to transform the healthcare industry and improve outcomes for patients and providers.

  • Elevance Health is the United States largest healthcare insurance provider with 46.8 million members and reached $171 billion dollars in revenue in 2023.

    • Leading the 0-1 design for a new behavioral health mobile app, collaborating with product managers, business owners, and engineers to ensure a seamless user experience for an upcoming market launch

    • Owning the end-to-end design process and driving decisions through definition, ideation, concept development, validation, wireframing, prototyping, and final visual design in quick, iterative cycles

    • Creating and managing a new internal design systems and WAG 2.0 accessibility resources

    • Identifying gaps and opportunities in the member and care experience and advocating for the problems we should be solving

  • Cue is a digital health company and connected health platform that offers diagnostic testing, telehealth, and online medical treatments that helps users take control of their health.

    • Led the UX and UI design for a new prescription experience for patients, increasing engagement and conversion in an expedited 6-month timeframe for 3K users

    • Launched Cue’s GLP-1 Weight Loss treatment program, resulting in a new revenue stream and seeding the design and product features for 20+ online treatments

    • Optimized the UX and UI for Cue’s COVID-19 testing and treatment app, improving usability and product OKRs, resulting in 17.3K app reviews and 4.8/5 rating

    • Directed the UX and UI design for Cue’s first professional, commercial app, launching a intuitive and streamlined digital product for 10+ healthcare systems

    • Spearheaded product design for Cue's integrated healthcare dashboard, providing increased usability, efficiency and workflow support for 100+ providers

    • Reimagined the UX and UI for Cue’s Account, Profile, and Login experiences for web and app, resulting in increased conversion and engagement rates

  • Philips is a leading health technology company focused on improving lives and operates in Imaging Systems, Patient Care, Home Health, and Clinical Informatics.

    • Redesigned the user experience for AED medical products for desktop and mobile, resulting in a 16% increase in MQL conversions and 28% increase in engagement

    • Led the digital strategy for various medical products in North America, improving web traffic by 11% and online engagement and campaign conversion by 22%

    • Managed Philips.com North America website and was responsible for the UX of AEM (Adobe Experience Manager) web pages and custom front-end development

  • FUJIFILM Sonosite is the leader in portable ultrasound technology, credited for advancing medicine by bringing ultrasound to the point of care.

    • Led the end-to-end digital experience for ultrasound web pages, increasing marketing qualified lead conversions by 29% from 2017-2019

    • Owned the product roadmap and design for the SonoAccess instructional education mobile app, increasing app reach to 82K downloads + 2K active users

    • Managed FUJIFILM’s SonoSite North America website and was responsible for the UX and UI for Drupal CMS web pages and custom front-end development

When you live in Seattle, drinking too much coffee is par for the course. Other than my love of coffee and design, I’m super into skiing, riding bikes, climbing mountains, taking photos, surfing, and trying to DJ a little bit. I spend a ton of time with my family and I love finding new parks and adventures to take them on, and we’re always looking for a cool beach or nice forest to explore.

When a patient has a hard time finding the medication or treatment they’re looking for, getting that prescription approved, and then getting that prescription in-hand, that company will lose users, money and marketshare.

Cue’s users were frustrated with how bad the online experience was for getting prescription treatments and medications, so I was tasked with leading a holistic redesign for how users can find, purchase, and get their prescription medications approved and delivered.

As a leader in COVID-19 diagnostic testing and treatment, Cue embarked on creating a new commercial, professional app specifically for healthcare clinics and enterprise health systems.

I was attached to the project as lead designer and worked hand-in-hand with product, commercial, tech and clinical teams to shape the design and experience of the app, owning new UX and UI designs to create a more valuable, productive and efficient user experience.
