I specialize in solving the most complex clinical design problems for patients, providers, and healthcare organizations.

I’m a Senior Product Designer with over 10 years of experience in working with biotech startups, medical technology companies, and healthcare insurance organizations to design and ship commercial products.

I currently lead product design for a mental health and substance abuse disorder mobile app (MHSUD), and a behavioral health mobile app (EAP) at Elevance Health / Carelon’s Health Services.

I have a Human Computer Interaction and User Experience Design certification from MIT, and I’ve designed everything from clinical EHR applications to AI chatbots to COVID-19 testing apps to and RX e-prescribing systems.

I’ve collaborated with everyone from Chief Medical Officers to ultrasound techs, and I specialize in solving ambiguous problems, shipping regulated products, and working with providers and executives to transform their visions into real products that solve real problems.

    • Led the product design for a new behavioral health mobile app, collaborating with executives and cross-functional teams to align product vision and ship a new app in 2024, driving +3,000,000 in new sales pipeline opportunities within the Defense (DoD), US Government, and Commercial sector

Other than my love of coffee and design, I love skiing, riding bikes, climbing mountains, taking photos, surfing, and trying to DJ a little bit. I love spending time with my wife and two young boys, and we’re always looking for a cool beach or nice forest to explore.

Improving conversion and engagement for online treatments and prescriptions

When a patient has a hard time finding the medication or treatment they’re looking for, and getting that prescription approved and delivered, the company they’re working with will lose users, money and marketshare.

Cue Health’s users were frustrated with how bad their online treatment experience was, so I was tasked with leading a holistic redesign for their digital treatment and prescription experience.

Creating a COVID-19 clinical diagnostic app

As a leader in COVID-19 diagnostic testing and treatment, Cue Health embarked on creating a new commercial, professional app specifically for healthcare clinics and enterprise health systems.

I was attached to the project as lead designer and worked hand-in-hand with product, commercial, tech and clinical teams to shape the design and experience of the app, spearheading new UX and UI features to create a more valuable, productive and efficient user experience.

How does a digital health company create an online product that helps users get a prescription and manage a chronic health condition? With obesity being one of the most common health problems for Americans, Cue wanted to create a Weight Loss Management Program around Wegovy, a popular, new weight loss medication.

As the lead designer, I was tasked with taking this product from 0 to 1 and creating the UX and UI through the entire product lifecycle, from initial discovery through high-fidelity design and implementation.
